The purpose of all ZINECDA work is to help fulfil realization of the rights of every child, especially from conception to eight years of age a period commonly known as early childhood development (ECD).
The quality of policy development and advocacy depends on the expertise of the ZINECDA members and stakeholders. In order to build a strong movement of ECD policy advocates, it is important to build, strengthen and sharpen their knowledge, analytic and diplomacy skills to persuade change of attitudes and practices of policy and decision makers. This is achieved through training workshops, provision of information sheets and analyses of research results. Some of the content of the training will encompass policy development processes, ECD conceptual issues, good governance practices, membership/partnership building and leadership development.
Doing the right thing at the right time.
