Marceline Kahlari, the Director is passionate about children and enjoys stimulating ECD pupils and nurturing their environment. Her great work in Early Childhood Stimulation and Policy advocacy has been influenced by being a mother of beautiful children who give her joy and keep her going in expressing her unique set of skills in toy making, good parental skills, and provision of responsive care. Among other academic credentials, she holds a Masters in Child Sensitive and Social Policies, a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences and a Diploma in Early Childhood Development. She is responsible for membership, policy advocacy, capacity building and unit coordination at National and Regional level.
Philmon Zvorufura, the Finance and Administration Manager, enjoys supporting young lives in various ways mainly by participating in mobilising resources and creating safe environments for healthy cognitive child growth. As a young rural boy, he remembers being good at moulding dolls, making cardboard box cars, making sijambok using tree buck. Being technical in nature made him pursue number crunching career. Professionally Phil holds an ACCA qualification, and Higher diploma in Accounting. Phil has worked in the NGO field for 16 years and has strong knowledge in policy development and organisational development strategies.
Kudzayi Khosa, the Policy and Advocacy Coordinator, is passionate about children's rights. She has been working in the child rights sector for 8 years, focusing on capacity strengthening of various stakeholders and partners in child rights advocacy. She is driven by a vision to see all children in Zimbabwe living to their full potential, regardless of their age, gender, disability status, geographical location or socioeconomic situation. She holds a Master's degree in Development Studies. Her responsibilities in her role include policy advocacy and maintaining ECD networks.
Hazvinei Mushonga as the Administration Officer is a strategic and innovative administration personnel who is responsible for the upkeep of human resources and the translation of ZINECDA's vision into administrative initiatives that improve performance, sustainability, growth, and member engagement. Hazvinei graduated from Midlands State University with a Master in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance (Midlands State University), and an Honours degree in Administration (University of Zimbabwe).
Nyemudzai Kakore is a communications specialist who uses her wealth of experience as a journalist to engage with policymakers and critical stakeholders to ensure that ECD is prioritised in terms of financing and development. Her aim is also to make sure that the less privileged children are given the opportunity to grow and develop into responsible citizens. She is responsible for managing the communication and advocacy strategy of the organisation, handles press inquiries and briefings among other duties. Nyemudzai holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations, an Honours Degree in Political Science and a National Diploma in Mass Communication: Print Journalism.
Prosper Ringisai as the system administrator for ZINECDA is responsible for smooth flow of systems, development of data visualisation, visuals and provide information technology support in advocating for young children. Through intrinsic motivation he used to cook for his siblings and create toys using clay while his parents were working in the field. This journey coupled with the experiences of working for various child focused organizations promoting blended learning and livelihoods brought him to a close proximity with children which made him develop a strong passion to create a platform for children to fulfil their God given purpose. Prosper ,holds a Masters in Big Data Analytics and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems.
Cosmas's priority is to work towards a specific goal that somehow helps to make a difference in the life of young ones making a significant contribution towards a better tomorrow, this brings a sense of job satisfaction and self-motivation to do more. He finds pleasure in promoting multi-sectoral funding approaches to child development. He is the Finance Assistant and he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. He is responsible for system based financial accounting, raising and following up on requisitions and funds request, reviewing and reconciling bank statements just to mention a few.
Tinashe is a development enthusiast who has interests in social and human development. He can easily use his charismatic traits to liaise between the members and organization. He is responsible for all aspects of membership management, from serving as the first point of contact for membership to recruitment of new members using his good communication skills. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree on Local Governance Studies (Hon) from Midlands State University. He is a Project Assistant.
