The purpose of all ZINECDA work is to help fulfil realization of the rights of every child, especially from conception to eight years of age a period commonly known as early childhood development (ECD).

Knowledge Generation and Sharing

ZINECDA generates and shares Early Childhood Development knowledge that can be used for decision making, policy advocacy and networking. This is done through identifying gaps and research agenda consensus building highlighting pertinent issues of interest to ECD but also which are in line with the National and Regional Documents especially at SADC level. Learning and adaptive management are key tenets of the research process which is meant to inform, agenda setting and informing policy advocacy.
